Virtual training is the next fitness revolution. It’s convenience based fitness for clients to access a trainer or instructor online instead of commuting to a facility. The potential is limitless. Internet and social media has connected the world in ways that were not possible just decades ago. Even fitness classes are available virtually and on-demand.


In the past, the expectation of the fitness industry was to entice members of the general public to seek its many services. Now, the fitness industry is being called to deliver its services and make its professionals available to the general public in a new way – virtually and “on demand” in the comfort of their own home.


What is virtual fitness training?


Virtual fitness training takes many forms. It can be a collection of streaming videos that are pre-recorded (or live) and shared through a platform or app, ours is Trainerize. Or, it can include live training and coaching sessions offered in a variety of ways. There are even some hybrid versions where coaching is blended with in-person and online activities.


Virtual training can also take the form of exercise program design and instruction. In other words, virtual fitness training is not a limited part of the industry. What can you imagine offering in a virtual world?


A virtual personal trainer is a fully qualified personal trainer who can prepare a workout program for you based on what you want to achieve, whether it be weight loss, strength or just getting fitter. They will take into consideration what you like to do exercise-wise and what equipment you have access to, and based on your fitness level, they will design a program and eating plan that’s delivered straight to your email inbox. You’ll still get plenty of motivation and encouragement via text messages, emails and phone calls, and you’ll be expected to send back your results.



SIMPLISTIC

Workouts and eating plans can be delivered straight to your inbox. All you need to do to track your results is to log on to the internet. You can access your workouts whether you’re overseas on a business trip or out of town on holiday or even home during a pandemic.


CUSTOMIZABLE

If you are someone who has access to only a couple of cans of baked beans and some heavy books or you’re addicted to amazon shopping and have all the latest gym gadgets at home, you have everything you need. Your workout can be personalized to meet your time, space and physical limitations.
